The Queen Anne style house has been covered with asbestos shingles and turned wood columns replaced with wrought iron. Historical significance: Constructed co. 1894 by J.M. Greer. In 1898 sold to G. Heyward, mayor of Greenville. 2 1/2 story frame - 1 story porch, 2nd story balcony. Turret with conical roof. Barge board in facade gable. Turned columns replaced with wrought iron. Asbestos shingles cover bldg.
