Description: 3 story, Gothic; 4 story tower with crendated parapet; stone masonry; full basement; Greek Revival portico 3 stories; 1 exterior rear chimney, 1 interior and 1 interior double stone chimneys; monumental portico w/full entablature; cadorn bond stone masonry; castellated tower; enclosed arcade w/leaded glass; semi-elliptical arch dormers; 6/6/ and 4/1 sash windows; tripart elliptical arched windows w/leaded glass trandsoms; transom and broken pediment around front door; padlladian windwo in typmpanum; castellated side portico and porte cochere; keystone over each window; bracketed cornice w/dentil molding highlights. Outbuildings: 3-car garage w/servant's apartment Historical Significance: landmark in Greenville; built in the '20s by Walter Gassaway, local banker and mill owner; he went bankrupt in 1930 and house reverted to the bank
