Historical Information:
The lot was owned by Arthur R. LaCoste in 1915, although he built no house there. When he sold the lot to Mrs. Thelma Kruger in 1930, the lease mentioned no house on the lot. The Krugers appear to have built the house and lived there, but by 1934, it was used as a rental property. In 1938, J. Julius Bonnoitt, Jr. bought the house. He lived there with his wife, Catherine, but by 1942, the house was listed as vacant. Lillian Kathryn Hanley and Theresa A. Hanley bought the house in 1943. They remained in the house until 1969, when the sold it to Joseph Mitchell Blake, a Westvaco employee. The Blakes lived there after buying the house, but in the 1990s, the occupancy of the house becomes confusing. By 1996, Rebecca Gaskin lived there and in 1998, Willie Gaskin joined her. On 27 December, 1999, Rebecca Gaskin received the house by quitclaim deed.
