Historical Information:
Dr. Thomas H. Martin, professor at MUSC, and wife bought lot and built house. Son, Thomas Martin Jr. fought and died in WWI. House sold to Ernest W. Bursky and wife Hulda on 11/8/1939. Burskey was a manager at Lowry's Meat Market. Hulda occupied house until 1992, when she died at 104 years of age.
