Built in 1875 by William Byrne, the building which was originally a residence is now a commercial site and will be completely restored and made into a business-residential structure. The building was recently bought by Elizabeth Austin, Inc. Antiques and will be renovated to accommodate her antique shop and an apartment on the upper two levels for her daughter. The Austins plan to reinstall a spiral staircase which was previously removed and to replace the period mantels and woodwork.
