Although the house has a tacked-on Victorian restoration, it is a fine late Georgian home with handsome appointments. It is a typical single house with double veranda. The attic story is accentuated by large Palladian windows on each side. The columns and balustrade on the veranda are of a gingerbread design. The interior still retains its original cornices and plasterwork. One room contains a handsome pre-Adam mantel and denticulated cornice.
