Build by Richard Brenen shortly after 1817, the house is a very handsome structure with a gable roof with pediment and facade accentuated with quoins and a distinguished curtain wall street entrance. Variations of the light relief plaster work are dominant on the first 2 floors, as are foliate detail cornices, ceiling medallions, in water leaf motif, paneled dados and dividing arches supported by tiny console brackets and trimmed in astrangal detail.
