Signficant Architectural Features:
Built by the Drayton family, the house represents several different styles, and periods of constructions portions of which may date to 1822. The stuccoed exterior features front bays, a small entrance porch with Doric columns, bare surface expression, unadorned windows with large panes of glass all suggesting a later period. Was a long-time home of Rev. John Lafayette Giradeau, prominent Presbyterian minister in the second half of the 19th century.
