Built by John Cart, the house feels some Adam influence but use of elaborate plasterwork is ommitted. Doors on main level are the 6-panel type with unusual top panels. In dining room is what appears to be a false door but actually opens to reveal a boarded surface. An above ground cistern is in the rear garden.
