Neo-Classical. The chief portion of the house, on the first level, is built of brick-covered stucco. The second story of the main portion is covered in a wide weatherboarding suggesting a period somewhat before the mid-19th century. It appears that this dwelling was constructed by John Henry Steinmeyer, a wealthy lumber merchant. The house has a 2-tiered porch across the front supported by slender Tuscon columns...
