Corrugated metal roof. I-house form - extremely altered. Rear shed. One exterior chimney on right - rubble stone below, brick above.
Dormers. Front porch. Exterior details. Exterior house extensively altered with Victorian millwork elements.
Some believe this has a log cabin at its core. Mrs. Aldridges tavern on 1820 Mills Map. Moved to this location and enlarged for McDowell house in early 1800s. Family cemetery on grounds.
