Signficant Architectural Features:

Saddle notched single pen log building with 6-8' wide planks. Building on wood piers.

Boarded over area where original chimney has been removed.

Historical Information:

Log building originally on "River Plantation" off route 341. It is one room of original house in which all family members were born. Single pen belonged to Mrs. Clyburn's Grandmother's Family. It was moved to the Bethune location c.1970.
