Historical Information:
"Inwood Place" is located south of Blenheim. It was constructed by Light Townsend in 1854-55. The plantation included a commissary, cotton gin, saw mill, blacksmith shop, and numerous other outbuildings typical of this area. The house remained in the Townsend family until 1983, when it was sold to the Ward family.
