This one story clapboard cottage has a roof of multiple gables covered in composition shingles. There are carved decorative brackets in the eaves. There are 2 chimneys. The windows are 2 over 2 sash. The front porch has a hipped roof and is supported on turned newels with a decorative spindle frieze. There is a transom over the front door and a vent in the front projecting gable. The foundation consists of brick piers and underpinning. A section of old McKibben Street (prior to the widening of Nance Street) is visible in the front yard.
