Signficant Architectural Features:
This two story brick home is attributed to Robert Mills. The roof is gabled and takes the form of pediments to the principal elevations. There are two chimneys and 6 over 6 sash windows. The front porch consists of a monumental tetra-style Roman Doric Portico. The rear porch (enclosed at the first level) consists of arches with lattice. There are decorative quoins at the corners. Sidelights and a transom of stained glass surround the front door. The foundation is of brick and granite. A row of one story brick houses behind the main house and running parallel to the street is suggestive of slave quarters.
