Historical Information:
organized by Duncan McIntire as a Presbyterian congregation in 1829. Gothic Revival structure built 1851; a number of other congregations began in this church, until this church was founded. Presbyterians of Marion District had to worship in Rowland, NC. For years services were conducted in Gaelic, then with a mixture of Gaelic and English until the Civil War when Gaelic was discontinued. A log building was erected for the church one mile E of Campbell's Bridge on Little Pee Dee. In 1851 a new church was built on the present site. The building was remodeled in 1912.
