Historical Information:
First organized in 1810 as the Saw Mill Baptist Church. In 1849 church was moved to its present site. Within a few years a building was constructed in which whites & enslaved blacks both worshipped. The new building was constructed in 1895, an educational building in 1854 and the present building in 1959.
