Historical Information:
The home was constructed by Manuel Oxner shortly after the turn of the twentieth century and sits on 800 acres of land. His son, Lawrence G. Oxner constructed the store across the street which housed the town's first post office. Oxner also gave the land where the Methodist Church was built and is buried there.
