Signficant Architectural Features:

The spillway consists of a series of gates on the Rocky River that form Broadway Lake. Some of the machinery and gears date from the spillway's construction.

Alterations:

Portions of the machinery have been replaced.

Historical Information:

The spillway and lake were a Works Progress Administration project. Both appear on a 1937 Anderson County Highway map.
