Signficant Architectural Features:
The building has a gable-on-hip roof, brick and granite exterior, monumental stained glass windows, entry porch with three round arches supported by granite piers, polygonal bays to the north and west, three-story square tower on the southwest corner, brick Sunday School building with casement windows on the southeast side of the lot known as the Wright Building. The church was constructed in the Romanesque style and designed by Reuben Harrison Hunt with interior detailing designed by C.C. Davis.
