Signficant Architectural Features:
The two-story, L-shaped frame house has a weatherboard exterior, a side gable roof covered in raised seam metal, and a façade porch with a hip roof. The house has nine-over-six (second floor), nine-over-nine (first floor) and six-over-one double-hung sash windows (second story of front gable wing). The main entry door is flanked by sidelights and the porch supports are boxed wood columns. The main façade has a large projecting gable wing that projects slightly on the second floor. There is a one-story gabled ell on the rear façade. The right side of the porch has been converted into a porte-cochere. The home originally had a two-story entry porch that was later enclosed and subsequently enlarged on the second story.

Photo inscription, "Our Home," 1896. Josephine Gentry was the first postmistress of Starr. Her father was the town's first mayor (last name Stuckey).
