rectangular tabby structure comprising continuous 11" wide foundation preserved to a height of 15" above grade, measuring 20' x 30' overall; stuccoed on external face; no evidence of any end chimney; no brick scatters; site surrounded by several specimen

Believed to be a remnant of Battery Plantation, the use of this building is not documented. In 1863, Battery Plantation encompassed 500 acres at the southern end of Port Royal Island.
