Alterations:
There are indications that the front section of the present house was moved c.1840. Subsequently, additional rooms were added N. and the roof reconfigured. After purchase by D.C. Wilson wing added north and S. porch extended right and left.
Historical Information:
The front portion of the house appears from structural investigation to have been built circa 1810 and to have undergone significant remodeling in the late 1830s or early 1840s. In 1862 property left to Sarah B. Cuthbert by will of her mother Mary B. Stu
